✪ Riveted (Saints of Denver #3) ✪ Jay Crownover ✪ Blog Tour and Giveaway ✪

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men books comes the next installment in the Saints of Denver series.

Everyone else in Dixie Carmichaels life has made falling in love look easy, and now she is ready for her own chance at some of that happily ever after. Which means shes done pining for the moody, silent former soldier who works with her at the bar thats become her home away from home. Nope. No more chasing the hot as heck thundercloud of a man and no more waiting for Mr. Right to find her; shes going hunting for him...even if she knows her heart is stuck on its stupid infatuation with Dash Churchill.

Denver has always been just a pit stop for Church on his way back to rural Mississippi. It was supposed to be simple, uneventful, but nothing could have prepared him for the bubbly, bouncy redhead with doe eyes and endless curves. Now he knows its time to get out of Denver, fast. For a man used to living in the shadows, the idea of spending his days in the sun is nothing short of terrifying.

When Dixie and Church find themselves caught up in a homecoming overshadowed with lies and danger, Dixie realizes that while falling in love is easy, loving takes a whole lot more workespecially when Mr. Right thinks hes all wrong for you.

ARC received for an honest review

It has been a while since I stuck my nose in a Jay Crownover book, but I always know that what she is giving us is going to be top notch.

Riveted had me just that... riveted to my kindle.  I have been wanting Dixie and Church's story since forever, and I was not disappointed.

Although this is a Saints of Denver book, it mostly doesn't take place in Denver - but all things hark back to their lives in Mile High so it does make sense.

You know what you are going to get with a Jay book, you know your are going to get an alpha, you know you are going to get a girl who gives them a run for their money.

Both Dixie and Church have always been kind of on the edge of the group of friends from the Saint series, but it was great to see them finally taking centre stage.  They are both very strong characters, and even though at times I wanted to slap some sense into Church, I loved where their story took them.

A bit of drama, a bit of intrigue and suspense had me needing to know what happened next.

There are some secondary characters that I just couldn't take to in this one. Dixie's sister Kallie needed a swift kick up the bum to make her grow the eff up.  Gah, every time she was on the page she annoyed me!

But for every Kallie there was  Jules or Dalen (Church's family) and they made all the annoyance fade away.

I got completely engrossed in this story, and now I can't wait to see what Ms Crownover brings us next.
