Dilyn Hart hates Christmas, so when her boss (and ex-boyfriend) hands her an assignment to interview champion snowboarder and gorgeous playboy extraordinaire, Dash Grainger, on Christmas Eve, she takes it. There are several things she doesn’t plan fora surly driver, a chalet in the middle of nowhere, a freak snowstormbut the biggest surprise of all is Dash himself.

Dash Grainger lives for the high, and so far in his twenty-six years, he
s never met anyone or anything he loves more. Nothing has ever thrilled him as much as slick snow, cold air, and breakneck speed.

Until he meets Dilyn.

But one perfect night doesn’t mean clear, blue skies the next day. There are some storms that can’t be weathered.

Christmas Day might just be one of them.

Dilyn is in a Colorado chalet to interview a hottie-playboy-superstar-snowboarder.
It'll be christmas soon and she's glad she's out of the city and all the christmas craziness. She hates the holidays!
But she also hates snow and sports and brainless athletes and now she's stuck in this tiny little chalet with Dash! She expected a huge luxury hotel with a spa and alcohol! Lots of alcohol to forget about the moment of weakness yesterday  - the moment where she almost kissed her ex & still-boss Jake.

Maybe a sexy sports guy is not the worst thing that could've happend to her at this time in her pathetic life....

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO DILYN & DASH???
WiLL THERE BE A HEA???

This was a very cute and snowy and romantic and sexy novella.
I wasn't sure what to think about it most of the time. It was too rushed for me. Too short, too insta, too porny. I think with a full-length novel the story or Dash & Dilyn would've been so much better. There was no depth, no nothing. OK - I wasn't really expecting there to be - it IS a novella after all. But still. I wanted a bit more.
I liked both Dash and Dilyn but I didn't love love them. And I felt sad for Jake.
There were some moments where I wanted to stop reading because it just felt too much like a typical cheap snowed-in-porn-scene. But I think Michelle wrote it just like that. As a very quick and very sexy holiday romance. To enjoy with a mug of hot cocoa in front of the fireplace!
Don't let me ruin your fireplace moment with my weird ramblings. It was a pretty cute little story!

DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW is an adorable little holiday romance. Enjoy the sexiness of Dash & Dilyn with a mug of hot chocolate in front of the fireplace in your Colorado luxury chalet! ☺ Or at home on the couch with a cuppa cocoa!☺☺

ARC received for an honest review

Wow, when things cool down in Colorado, they really heat up!

Dash and Dilyn's story is a short, hot and sexy Christmas novella that will be steaming up your ereader!

It is hard with a novella to make it not seem insta-lovey, so yes while this is insta-lust and insta-sexy, it didn't feel tooooo insta-lovey for me (gosh, does that make any sense?).  I felt there was enough between Dilyn and Dash that it felt like we had known them a lot longer.

There was laughter, some tears and a bit of a broken heart for another character we meet along the way.

At times, it did feel a little cheesey, like a Hallmark Christmas movie, but maybe this was just me.

Now we are about to hit December, this was a perfect little read to get me into the Christmas mood.

Can't wait to see what Ms Leighton brings us next.

LiNKS TO THE BOOK & AUTHOR

Stalking Michelle:

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, M. Leighton, is a native of Ohio. She relocated to the warmer climates of the South, where she can be near the water all summer and miss the snow all winter. Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: literary fiction. Having written over a dozen novels, these days Michelle enjoys letting her mind wander to more romantic settings with sexy Southern guys, much like the one she married and the ones you'll find in her latest books. When her thoughts aren't roaming in that direction, she'll be riding wild horses, skiing the slopes of Aspen or scuba diving with a hot rock star, all without leaving the cozy comfort of her office.

About Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are combined. I'm convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.
