ARC received from author for an honest review.

It has been a while since we have had a new book from CP Smith, but picking up one of her books is like coming home.  It is like putting on a pair of comfy slippers and relaxing on the couch.

You kind of know what to expect with her stories, but the journey she takes you on is always a bit unexpected.

Wallflowers:  Three of a Kind is the first in the Wallflowers series and as well as being a beautiful story in its own, it is a great set up for the next two books.

Calla Lily - Cali and Devin's relationship is full of fun, laughs and sexy times, along with plenty of betrayal, frustrations and aggravation.  But through everything that is happening - it is a CP Smith novel, you know there is going to be plenty of sh!t going down - they are able to forge a friendship, a relationship, love.

There are so many great characters in this book.  From Cali's aunts to her two new and best friends - the other wallflowers - you can't help but smile and get taken along on the adventure with them.

I love the friendship between the Wallflowers - Cali, Poppy and Sienna.  We all need friendships like theirs in our lives.

There is also plenty of suspense, and I have to say, I am usually pretty good at picking who the bad guys are in the books I read but this time I had no idea!

Ms Smith has woven a beautiful, heartfelt story about love and friendships.  The story flowed, it felt like I had known these characters my whole life, and even though events happen over the space of about a week, this did not feel like an insta-love kind of relationship.

I can't wait for the next in the Wallflowers series.
