✪ Crave Me (Good Ol' Boys #4) ✪ M. Robinson ✪ Cover Reveal ✪

CRAVE ME (Good Ol' Boys #4)

They say in order to find yourself you have to go  home.

What if home was what you're running from?

Where did that leave you?

Always on the other side of the fence.

Always looking in.

Always wishing you were someone you couldn't be.

Until one day you meet her.
The one.

She was my high, but she was also...

My demise.

Colors blended together making it hard to focus on one thing. I blinked a few times and just like that…

I saw her face.

As if she was standing right in front of me.

My whole world…

My girl.

I felt my lips curl up slightly at the vision as I reached out for her. Wanting to touch her, needing to hold her, yearning to kiss her. Craving, God, craving to fucking love her.

“I’m sorry,” I murmured out loud to no one but the illusion of my drug-infested mind. “I’m so fucking sorry,” I repeated repentantly, longing for her to believe me.

Aching for her to love me again like she used to.

I don’t know how long I sat there, staring at her beautiful face before my eyes, subconsciously rubbing the tattooed key that was placed over my heart. I couldn’t take it anymore, and the desire won over the haze.

It was too powerful.

It was too vivid.

I grabbed my phone. “Baby,” I said into the speaker. The ringing quickly followed, going straight to voicemail. I hung up and tried again. “Baby,” I urged with desperation in my tone.

Still nothing.

I tried again and again and again.

I would try until the end of time if that’s what it took for her to answer.

To talk to me.

To save me.

To crave me.

Time just seemed to standstill, as my life slowly played out in front of me. Trying  to balance in between the light and the darkness when all I could see was gray.

“What?!” she screamed into the phone, finally answering after I don’t know how many failed attempts. “What the hell do you want now?”

“Mi cielo.” I breathed a sigh of relief.

She ignored my term of endearment. I hadn’t called her that in such a long time.

My heaven.

“What do you want, Austin? Why are you calling me? We’re over! I can’t do this anymore!”

I shut my eyes and let my mind wonder, allowing it to go to another place in time where she didn’t hate me.

“I remember the first time I made you smile,” I chuckled, as if it had just happened.

My nerves were on fire. The mere sound of her breathing through the phone was too intense for me. I licked my lips, my mouth suddenly dry.

“I remember when you used to smile just for me. Do you remember, baby? Do you remember what my love feels like?”

I heard her faintly breathing.

“Do you remember my hands on you? My lips? My tongue? The first time I made you come with my mouth? Do you remember all the times since? Tell me I’m not forgotten. Tell me you remember, baby.”

“I love you, Briggs. I love you so fucking much. You’re killing me, don’t you see that? I’m dying without you.”

“No, Austin. You were dying with me,” she rasped, knowing that it killed her to say that.

“The first time I saw your face, I thought to myself, damn, this beautiful girl is goin’ to be the death of me. You were perfect in every way. I was a cocky son of a bitch who needed you then, as much as I need you now.”

More silence.

“I had a dream about you, baby. I always fucking dream about you. In my dream you had a ring on your finger. A ring I put there. You belonged to me. Only mine.

Forever fucking mine. You were pregnant, Briggs. You looked so goddamn happy. I saw light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in years.”

She sniffled into the phone.

“I made love to you. Slow, just the way you love. Taking my time to touch every last inch of your body. Memorizing every last bit of you. Making you come until you begged me to stop. I didn’t.”

“I can’t—” she tried to interject, but I didn’t let up.

“I kissed your stomach. Our baby. Letting my lips linger there, whispering sweet lullabies, letting her know daddy will always be there. Baby, it was so real. For a second I gave you the one thing you so desperately wanted, the one thing I can’t give you.”

Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that.

Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the internet is not her friend.
No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can’t find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good

But why can’t she stop fantasizing about him?

Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boy
dark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile.
he isn’t.

As his employee, he won’t touch her with a ten foot pole.
But she won’t touch him either.

Too bad their hormones missed the memo.

Never mix business with pleasure.
That is or rather has always been both Kline & Georgia's motto.
But now Georgia suddenly gets invited to dinner by her hot-as-hell boss Mr. Kline Brooks - Mazillionaire!!!

...it didn't hurt that he was easy on the eyes. Well, not my eyes, but other women's eyes. I was sure he was easy on their eyes. My eyes knew not to look at him.

Ok, he says he's only asking her because she was at the right place at the right time and because he won't survive another one of his mom's blind-dates. But he also said that he thinks she's fucking hot.
So, of course 26-year-old-virgin Georgia said yes!
Even though she was almost ready to date her dating-app-flirt @BAD_Ruck.
What she doesn't know, of course, is .... Kline IS her dating-app dick-pic-flirt. Only it wasn't his dick in that message, but that's another story....

Can Georgia really date her boss?
Will he run screaming once he finds out she's a virgin?
Will they both cheat with their app-flirts? Or is it even cheating when it's themselves their cheating with?
Or will one of them find out who the app-flirt is??
Lots of questions - lots of stuff happening until we might see a Happily Ever After on the horizon...

One word: LIMES!

I'm not telling you that of course ☺

Eeeeep - KLINE BROOKS is finally on my kindle!
I was really looking forward to reading it - even though I still have NO idea which 2 authors make up the author-duo of Max Monroe. I guessed a lot, but nothing has been confirmed yet. ☺

It's a pretty long book - I was somehow expecting something shorter - no idea why ☺

It was hilariously funny and sexy and in some scenes you want to put your hands in front of your eyes or run away screaming - that's where you poor english people are missing one word: FREMDSCHÄMEN!!!
That's when you're totally embarassed about what someone is doing or saying or what is happening to someone, that you just can't watch or even want to hide or run away.... That happened here a few times.☺☺☺

The supporting cast is amazing!!!!
Georgia's friend and colleague Dean! Hilariously over-gay!
Georgia's best friend and room-mate Cassie - who breaks out in spontaneous songs about the most ridiculous/inappropriate topics. (Btw. Cassie will be next book's heroine - she'll be paired with Kline's best friend Thatcher - who is just as inappropriate and hilarious.)
Also inappropriate and hilarious is Georgia's mom - a sex therapist!!! And her Dad Dick Cummings! Adorable!
Perfect cast - I SO need to see this book turned into a movie!
2 hours swoon-staring at Kline Brooks!!!!! Hell yes!

But of course the story is not only funny - it's sexy as hell too!!!!

...and adorable and cute and sweet and New York-ish and ugh...
I loved how Kline is not your typical billionaire idiot, but this really sweet and down-to-earth guy with great parents - nobody had a bad childhood here.
Two amazing people with amazing friends and family come together to make another perfect family....
Sounds a bit too perfect - but of course it's not... there's a lot of anxiety and secrets and whatnot to overcome before we get to our HEA!!! ☺ But the way we're getting there is adorably hilarious and sexy and just great!!!!

If I had to name someting I didn't like?? Hm - maayyyybe the Cover. Yes, I love it - the cover is sexy and hot and all - BUT - it doesn't fit the book. In my opinion it cheapens the story a tiny bit. We have this hot-as-hell CEO guy in a suit most of the time and the cover-guy is not really our Kline :/ I don't really know what I mean, but I think the story should not be judged by this cover and it probably will. Yes, we have very sexy and funny moments in this book - A LOT OF THEM - but it's not only this tiny little, funny, sexy romance like the cover suggests by being all sexy, white and pinkish ☺.
I would've preferred a cover with a suited guy with a girl at his side...maybe both holding phones or pfff - what do I know. I'm not a cover-maker ☺☺☺

TAPPING THE BILLIONAIRE was an extremely hilarious and sexy romance! Run to your nearest amazon and one-click yourselves some Kline Brooks!!!

An irresistible new love story from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Fool's Gold series, set in a town Library Journal calls "so appealing, readers will want to start scoping out real estate."

To overcome her painful past, baker Shelby Gilmore goes on the hunt for a friend
a male friendto convince her stubborn psyche that men can be trusted. But where in a town as small as Fool's Gold will the petite blonde find a guy willing to not date her?

Dark, charming Aidan Mitchell puts the "adventure" in Mitchell Adventure Tours
and into the beds of his many willing female tourists. Until he realizes he's inadvertently become that guythe one-night Casanovaand worse, everyone in town knows it. Maybe Shelby's boy/girl experiment will help him see women as more than just conquests so he can change his ways and win back his self-respect.

As Aidan and Shelby explore the secret lives of men and women, the heat between them fires up the Fool's Gold rumor mill. If no one will believe they're just friends, maybe they should give the gossips something to really talk about!

 Book #20

We already know Shelby & Aidan from previous books. Shelby is the sister of our darling ski-pro Kipling, who is now running the town's search and rescue team. And Aidan is one of five brothers, and he runs the Fool's Gold adventure tours ... We heard about what happened in their lives and families before, but of course we talk about it all again in here.

Aidan and Shelby couldn't be any different.
Shelby is a girl who is afraid to get hurt, and that's why she always chooses idiots to date. Ones who would never hurt her heart or body. But she wants to settle down, get married, have kids one day soon. How can she do that when she's scared of guys?
Aidan will run far and fast from anything connected with commitment. He will never fall in love and get married. He didn't have the best examples in his parents.
That's why he does the serial hook-up thing with tourists. They don't stay long, they leave and won't come back....most of the time at least... Because after one of those encounters goes a bit wrong, he's sworn off women for a while.
And that's where Shelby's idea brings them both together.
Why don't they try to be friends? Just a girl and a guy being good friends. Doing stuff together and talk and just hang out. That would help Shelby to lose her fear of guys and Aidan would finally see that girls are people too, not only play-things.

But of course there's the old question...Can a guy and a girl be only friends???

What will happen to Shelby & Aidan?
Will friendship turn into love?
Will there be a HEA?

Nope - I'm not telling you ☺

Ugh - I just LOVE Fool's Gold and it's people - I would be happy to have a new Fool's Gold book every month for the rest of my life! ☺

I loved this story.
Shelby and Aidan!

Two people who on the outside don't appear to have anything in common, but it really works.
Friendship turns into lust and love and it's so adorable to watch poor Aidan finally fall for someone!

And then there's Shelby and the bakery - all her ideas for the business and Aidan and his adorable new room-mate.
And of course all the other Fool's Gold couples we already know - LOTS of them pregnant or just new parents.
I just love this town!!!!

I really loved every second of the story - the sexy and romantic moments - the funny moments (male pedicures and babyshowers!) - sad and moving moments.... just perfect!
